Nail Art April: Easter

Happy Easter!

For today’s Easter prompt, I decided to freehand a kawaii bunny and do some easy-peasy Easter egg-ish nail art using the vinyls from the Know Your Lines Cut It Out Nail Vinyls. For this mani, I used Essie Blanc, Essie Licorice and China Glaze Pinking Out the Window for the bunny. I then use a base of Essie Blanc and did a gradient of Essie In the Cab-ana, Essie Nice is Nice and China Glaze Be More Pacific for the rest of the nails.

To freehand the bunny, I first painted on a half oval on the tip of my nail to be the bunny’s head. Using a nail art brush, I painted two teardrops for the ears and did two smaller ones in pink for the inner ear and a little triangle in pink for the nose towards the tips. For the eyes, I just used two dotting tools in different sizes to get the eyes and the little twinkles. Overall, this was really easy to freehand.

And by the way, I think the hardest part about nail blogging is just getting your pose down. Still working on it and I think I might just stop using the diamond paperweight.

If you’d like to follow along with this challenge, here are all of the prompts:
