31 Day Challenge: Inspired by Fashion

For today’s fashion prompt, I took a look at NYFW 2014’s runways. To me, I think it’s pretty easy to get inspired by runway trends. The colors, the structure, the composition… they all play so well together to give you that great floral or textured print or amazing color combination. For this mani, I was inspired by this Marchesa dress:

Now let’s see my interpretation:

Colors used: Essie After School Boy Blazer, OPI My Vampire is Buff, Zoya Louise and OPI Miss Piggy’s Big Number.

Paint your nails a navy base, then create a 3/4 Ruffian with your light nude color. Paint some leaves and filigree detail in brown and create your flowers using two shades of blue. I really like how this simplified version turned out overall. I love the navy and nude combination!
